About

The beginnings of Good Culture Club

Good Culture Club was born out of a desire to raise the well-being of others in the Mudgee community.

Owner and yoga teacher, Hannah Edensor, moved from Sydney to Mudgee in 2017, hoping to slow things down and get back to the roots of what makes life so magical. Joining a friend for a local yoga class, Hannah found it. The practice of yoga unlocked a very gentle, yet very clear path towards a renewed sense of connection - to herself and to the community.

With each class, this feeling grew, so Hannah jumped wholeheartedly into the 200-hour yoga teacher training with Laura Humphreys in Mudgee. Overcoming nerves to teach her first class, Hannah went on to teach her second and third class, and never looked back.

While yoga has ebbed and flowed in her life in the years that followed, the Good Culture Club seed has long been planted. The first few weeks of 2023 brought new energy and opportunities, culminating in the Lovejoy Village space. Trusting in this offering, Hannah signed a lease, accepted the support of her beautiful family and Mudgee community, and turned the space into a studio worth sharing.

It’s so lovely to have you here…

Come home to yourself here

This Good Culture Club yoga studio was designed to be a safe, warm, and grounding space for everyone who steps inside.

Whether you’re brand new to the practice of yoga or you’ve been doing it for decades, this is the place for you. There’s no expectations, no judgements, and no ‘right’ way to feel or move on your mat.

Think of this studio as a soft place to land - a space where you can feel completely at ease, learn what your body and mind needs, and flow in total alignment with your intentions.

We offer a range of classes to suit all levels, as well as offerings to tailor each class to the students in the room. Some days, you might need to curl up in child’s pose and surrender to your mat, others you might need to build energy and find your edge. Whatever you’re feeling, and whatever you need, you’re invited to join us on the mat and find your way home.

Meet the Team

  • Hannah Edensor

Hannah completed her 200-hour teacher training under Laura Humphreys in 2019, drawn to the deep, genuine support yoga provided for her mental health. Learning steadiness, resilience, and self-inquiry, Hannah continued to practice, learn, and grow until the opening of Good Culture Club studio in 2023.

Now, her classes reflect where she’s at in life. Some days, they are slow, steady and balanced. Other days, they are playful, creative and powerful. But Hannah always returns to what brought her to yoga - an authentic place to reconnect to yourself and hold space for whatever unfolds.

  • Felicity Meek

Felicity first found yoga around 2016, while preparing for the birth of her second child, and discovered a deep a passion that’s stayed with her ever since.

Completing both her 200hr and 300hr Vinyasa Training with Tegan Burger at the Be Yoga school, Felicity moved with her family to Mudgee in 2022.

Now, Felicity hopes to share the joy, empowerment and calmness of heart and mind that a regular yoga practice can bring.

  • Deb Grant

A deeply experienced and traditional Ashtanga teacher, Deb is a long-time Mudgee local who grew up in Sydney, while spending several years training and practicing yoga in India under renowned teachers.

With her devotion to practice and community, Deb brings a simple, authentic and curious approach to her classes. She invites you to explore your inner world, connect to your bandhas, and trust in the path that yoga provides.

  • Alanah McDonald

Alanah started practicing yoga in 2015, and even though she trained in strong vinyasa styles, something about the gentle, slow pace of yin and restorative yoga immediately drew her in.

So Alanah dedicated herself to learning the art of slowing down and moving through each day with a little more softness. Today, as a busy mum of two, forever student, and teacher, Alanah deeply values grounding practices that support and nourish the nervous system - especially in a world where pressing pause isn’t always easy.

  • Connie Mylan

Connie completed her 200-hour teacher training with Byron Bay Yoga Centre in 2015, followed by her Certificate III in Fitness in 2017, blending traditional yogic principles with a practical understanding of functional movement.

Connie’s classes are designed to build strength and flexibility without losing sight of breath, presence and joy. With a light-hearted and down-to-earth teaching style, Connie creates a welcoming space where students feel comfortable to move at their own pace, reconnect with themselves and rediscover the simple joy of moving your body.
